Das sagt der AsianDVDGuide zu den Schnitten:
The DVD is missing approximately 12 minutes. The majority of the cuts are of Jackie's time with the tribe including a gratuitous booty shot. Most early reviewers said the tribe time slowed the film, but when deleted it affects the film negatively. The major difference between the two films is the sequencing. In HK, the events leading up to the helicopter crash (I hope I'm not spoiling) was done via flashback interjected throughout the whole movie. In USA, the flashbacks are spliced together at the beginning making it chronological but choppy. Plus without reason the funniest and most dangerous stunt is cut (Jackie being chased up a tree by a lion).
